The annual Native American Art Market is this weekend at the Museum of the American Indian in Lower Manhattan, including the opportunity to meet with the Native American artists. This is your chance to buy one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry, pottery, baskets, sculptures, paintings, apparel, beadwork and other artwork and crafts at affordable prices for yourself or for gifts.
The Native Art Market is being held simultaneously at the Museum of the American Indian in NYC, a branch of the Smithsonian, and at the main museum in Washington, D.C. Vendors are selected by the museum, so you can be assured everything is top quality. Prices range from $50 to $5,000.
The Smithsonian Native Art Market is FREE admission, Saturday/Sunday, Dec. 5/6, 10am to 5:30pm both days.
Plus, there’s a ticketed preview on Friday, Dec. 4th, 4-7 p.m. to meet with the artists and get early access to the arts sale.
