National Coffee Day Freebies & Discounts

www.nyconthecheap.comNew York City has the title of best coffee city in America, so there’s no better place to celebrate National Coffee Day on Saturday, Sept. 29th. Get percolating with these freebies and discounts at local and national coffee shops, including coffee ice cream and espresso martinis.

Discounts for Seniors 55 Plus

Barnes and Noble offers a free cup of coffee at their three NYC locations, no purchase necessary, although as an author myself, I thoroughly support the purchase of books.

Krispy Kreme has just one location in NYC, at Penn Plaza at Penn Station, and it is offering a  free brewed coffee on Saturday.  Plus, they’ve also created a special coffee-glazed doughnut available this week only. Rewards members also get a free doughnut on Sept. 29.

Birch Coffee entices customers people to pay what you wish at their 10 NYC locations. By offering a pay-as-you-please incentive, Birch hopes customers will foster a stronger appreciation for the people involved in the process of getting coffee from the farm to the cup.

Bulletproof Coffee is giving out free coffee from 7-10 a.m. in Tribeca at the corner of Warren and Greenwich streets.

Prefer your coffee at home? Atlas Coffee Club is a new subscription service that lets you explore the world of coffee with a bag of beans each month from a different country.  In case you didn’t know, 50 countries produce coffee, from Papua New Guinea to Peru. Through  11:59 p.m. on National Coffee Day, new subscribers get a free bag of coffee with code AtlasCoffeeDay18.

BOGO and discount deals on National Coffee Day

Dunkin’ Donuts celebrates with buy one hot coffee, get a second one free.

Intelligentsia Coffee is offering a free cold coffee or tea with purchase of a 16-oz. reusable coffee cup at all their NYC locations.

The Coffee Counter at Nickel & Diner is offering a BOGO cold-brew soft serve ice-cream. The SoHo standalone coffee bar features such coffee creations as a cold brew milkshake with coconut milk ice cream.

Peet’s Coffee is offering  one-pound bags of beans are 25% off, plus a free drip coffee or tea with purchase. Get the same discount online with the code COFFEEDAY18 (limit one bag per person).

Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur at The Flower Shop is offering reduced-price coffee-cocktails at their LES location at 5p.m. on Saturday. Or, get  $8 Espresso Martinis and $8 “Cold Fashioneds” made with Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur.
