The Mediterranean mini-chain Nanoosh opens its fourth location in Manhattan tomorrow, June 2nd, with all opening day proceeds to support the charity Action for Healthy Kids. The newest Nanoosh, is at 469 Seventh Ave., between 35th and 36th Streets, open from noon to 8pm.
Founded in 2007, Nanoosh serves authentic hummus, wraps, salads and soups made from fresh, organic all-natural ingredients. So it’s a natural (pun intended) to partner with Action for Healthy Kids, a nationwide grassroots network mobilizing schools, parents and volunteers in support of school-based nutrition and physical activity that lead to lifelong healthy habits and academic success for all kids.
Nanoosh also has added new menu options, including customizing the brand’s signature Powerfood Plates with a choice of organic quinoa, organic farro, hummus made from organic chickpeas or power greens. You can also add a variety of proteins and toppings to create a dish unique to your taste and nutrition needs.
Breakfast is served currently only at the Madison Avenue restaurant, and will be served at the new location. Offerings include organic egg platters and sandwiches, Greek yogurt, fruit, and oatmeal and organic coffee and teas.
