It’s Oscar season, a great time to attend a concert of great movie music. The Big Picture is a concert tribute of Jewish heritage and history in a dozen popular and award-winning films, from Funny Girl and Fiddler on the Roof to Sophie’s Choice and The Pianist. Accompanied by a quintet, acclaimed clarinetist David Krakauer performs interpretations of popular movie music in a style that combine classical and jazz with klezmer influences.
