Can’t get tickets to the big Tribeca Film Festival now underway? No worries. The alternative Manhattan Film Festival, April 14-24th also offers groundbreaking films and documentaries, and for just $12 a ticket.

The Manhattan Film Festival was founded by independent filmmakers to help introduce their work to new audiences, which helps filmmakers stay in the business of making films. Recently MFF was recently named among “The Coolest Film Festivals in the World″ as well as “25 Film Festivals Worth the Entry” by MovieMaker Magazine.
