The legendary Copacabana has re-opened in equally legendary Times Square, in a sparkling new four-floor space with plenty of room for live music, the world famous Copa Dancers to watch, and a huge dance floor for the rest of us, plus a gourmet restaurant and a skylight lounge overlooking the dancing lights of Times Square.
The Copa, in case you need to be reminded, is the nightclub Barry Manilow immortalized in song, Martin Scorcese used to great effect with a memorable long tracking shot in “Goodfellas”, and where Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis got their start as performers.
The new Copacabana is crowned by a glass-enclosed rooftop serving after work cocktails and weekend brunch, plus an ultra exclusive skylight VIP room.
The new Copacabanais at 268 W. 47th St. in Times Square. See you on the dance floor for salsa, merengue, cumbia and more Latin moves.
