Learn about the signs, symptoms, risk factors, and coping strategies of bullying in a FREE workshop on the UES Saturday, January 12th. This 90 minute workshop is for parents, caretakers and educators, although the program focuses on parents who have children who are bullied or demonstrate bullying behavior, or are generally concerned about their child’s susceptibility. The workshop is an overview of the risk factors of bullying, the long-term implications, and the family environment which can potentially help diminish a child’s susceptibility to bullying behavior or being bullied.
The workshop on how to protect children from bullying is led by two professional, licensed social workers who specialist in anti-bullying, parenting and sibling issues.
