Kid’s Week at the Intrepid Museum Starts Sunday

intrepid museum kids week Kids Week at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, starts Sunday, Feb. 18, with a week of nearly hourly activities, from performances by the casts of  top Broadway shows and wildlife demonstrations, to programs with NASA scientists and demos of NASA technology.

All shows, lectures and mini-tours are FREE with admission.

Kids Week 2018 celebrates science everywhere. Look for science in your favorite places, from the basketball court to your backyard.

Kids of all ages can discover how science intersects with art, sports, games and nature in fun-filled activities, performances and visits from special guests all week long.

Intrepid MuseumKids Week at the Intrepid is Sunday, Feb. 18 through Saturday, Feb. 24.

The are raffle prizes and giveaways all week, and also the chance to win the chance to spend a night at the museum, for real, at Camp Slumber.

The Intrepid is just one of several top museums for kids in Manhattan, also including the American Museum of Natural History and the National Museum of Math.

Also, register now for Camp Intrepid, a summer day camp for kids in grades K–5. Campers embark on exciting projects exploring topics related to the former aircraft carrier USS Intrepid and the Museum’s collection of aircraft, spacecraft and water craft through exciting projects.

Educators help campers think critically, question the world around them and have fun while doing it.
