Kentucky Fried Chicken has brought back its popular Fried Chicken & Waffles, for a limited time.
The new menu item was introduced last November, and removed from the menu despite its popularity.

It’s back, at participating locations, as a basket meal or as a sandwich.
KFC Chicken & Waffles is available through April 29, or while supplies last.
The basket meal option gives you an Extra Crispy one-piece breast, two-piece thigh and drum or three-piece tenders, plus includes a Belgian-style waffle with Mrs. Butterworth’s syrup for $5.49.
The sandwich option features a KFC breast fillet nestled between two mouthwatering waffles served with Mrs. Butterworth’s syrup for $5.99.
That’s also available as a combo meal for $7.99.
Another option is the Big Basket meal, with two waffles and two syrups, with a choice of two-piece white meat, three-piece dark meat or four-piece tenders, also for $7.99.
NOTE that prices may vary by location.
KFC Health & Nutrition warning
KFC lists the calories, fat and sodium content of its menu offerings on its own KFC Nutrition Guide website, which NYC ON THE CHEAP recommends you check before ordering anything at KFC.
KFC Extra Crispy chicken is listed as containing a whopping up to 1,150mg of sodium. That’s just one serving.
There’s no listing for the nutritional value of the waffles, perhaps because it’s a limited time menu item.
