Get year-end tax tips from IRS experts in this FREE workshop at the New York Public Library. The workshop is for start up and established self-employed freelancers, entrepreneurs and independent contractors, to learn current and new tax requirements and record keeping responsibilities.
The discussion includes: Schedule C, Profit or Loss from Business (Sole Proprietorship), deductible business expenses, self-employment tax and other tax topics.
The program is Thursday, December 11th, 6-7:30 p.m. at the Science, Industry, Business Library (SIBL) at 34th St. between Fifth and Madison. There are no reservations. Seating is first come, first served, so get there in time to get a seat.
And be sure to bring something to take notes with, whether that’s a new-fashioned electronic device or old-fashioned pen and paper.
