Since laughter is the best medicine, a group of NYC and New Jersey comedians are hosting two Hurricane Sandy benefit comedy shows. The shows is part of a 24-hour Hurricane Sandy benefit at the Hoboken Elks Club on Friday and Saturday, January 11th-12th. Admission to each two-hour show is $10, and all profits go to the Elks Disaster Relief Fund to help local Hoboken Hurricane Sandy victims rebuild their lives. More than just two comedy show fund-raisers, this is an all-day community event, with artwork by local artists, food from local restaurants, music by local bands, and more, all to help raise money and awareness for the continuing plight of Hoboken’s residents and businesses.
