Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day is Thursday, May 5th. The Museum of Jewish Heritage is honoring the six million victims of the Holocaust with several events.
Visit the museum FREE on Thursday and speak with Holocaust survivors in the galleries between 10am and 2pm. The museum, in Lower Manhattan, is open until 5:45pm.
Wednesday, May 4th at 7:30pm is a special Yom HaShoah program for young professionals, with the children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors sharing their experiences. Get tickets at mjhnyc.org.
On May 15th, see a play, Letters to Sala, at 3:30pm.
