Broadway Week 2017 through Feb. 5

POSTED BY
Evelyn Kanter

There are still half-price tickets available for  NYC Broadway Week 2017, now underway. This is your annual opportunity to get BOGO tickets to nearly two dozen top musicals and dramas, including Cats, Wicked and On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan.

The Broadway Week BOGO ticket deal is for performances through  Feb. 5.

Kids’ Night on Broadway is in February, when kids get FREE tickets to top shows.

Broadway Week BOGO tickets to most popular shows sell out first, including to such new hits as the teen drama “Dear Evan Hansen” and the acclaimed Josh Groban musical “Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812,” plus perennial favorites.

Once again, “The Book of Mormon” is not participating.  And forget about getting half-price tickets to “Hamilton”.

Most shows participating in Broadway Week offer only a limited number of BOGO seats, so act quickly for half-price tickets to the show you want on the day you want.

Get tickets online or by phoning Ticketmaster (use discount code BWAYWK) or Telecharge, and online directly from the show you want or by calling the theater box office.

NYCOTC ticket affiliate Goldstar offers half-price tickets year-round for Broadway and Off Broadway shows, and sporting events.

Or, get tickets through the taxpayer and member supported NYC tourism and marketing arm, NYCGO, which now brands itself as the NYC “official guide”.

  • Ticket sales open tomorrow for the first-ever NYC Attractions Week, with BOGO tickets tickets to some of the city’s best museums, cultural sites and tours.

Here’s the full list of the 19 participating Broadway Week shows:

A Bronx Tale
Aladdin
August Wilson’s Jitney
Beautiful: The Carole King Musical
Cats
Chicago The Musical
Cirque du Soleil Paramour
Dear Evan Hansen
In Transit

Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812

It is likely you are being frozen out because all the BOGO tickets have been claimed. Only a certain number of two-for-one tickets are set aside for each performance. We cannot help you since we do not administer the Broadway Week offer. Have you tried contacting the theater directly by phone or by email? That is one of the suggestions we wrote about. Best of luck,

      Evelyn Kanter, NYCOTC Editor
