See the biggest FREE outdoor concert in NYC in September, with a line-up that includes Pearl Jam, Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay and more music stars. 48,000 free tickets are available for Global Citizen Festival 2015.
As in past years, in order to get these tickets, you’ll have to earn them by completing actions on the Global Citizen Festival website.
These actions are fun, educational, and easy, and all designed to make us more aware of global poverty, human trafficikng and other social issues – and, more importantly, start doing something about it.
2015 is the year for the Global Citizen movement to end poverty. This September at the UN General Assembly in New York, world leaders from 193 countries, and Pope Francis, who is visiting NYC at the time, will announce new global goals to fight inequality, protect our planet, and end extreme poverty by 2030.
The festival is a critical lever for achieving policy and financial commitments that will shape the success of the Global Goals over the next 15 years.
