And the ceremony is FREE and open to couples of all ages, genders, religions, races and backgrounds, including visitors to NYC.
Wedding ceremonies are scheduled between 11am and 2pm on Friday, Feb. 14 in the heart of Times Square.
Ceremonies will take place near the Twelth Annual Heart Design, “Heart Squared.“
Couples who intend to be married in Times Square must follow all New York State laws to secure a marriage license.
You will also have to provide at least 2 witnesses on the day of the ceremony.
Couples who want to get married in Times Square on Valentine’s Day must register for a slot before registration ends on Feb. 3.
Before or after the vow renewal, or even if you are just visiting Times Square in February with no vow renewal planned, be sure to stop by the annual Valentine heart display, for a kiss and a selfie.
The Red Steps are at Duffy Square, 46th St. and Broadway, and participating couples are invited to be in wedding dress, although that is not required.
As the vow renewal concludes, official Times Square confetti will flutter around the participants, just as on New Year’s Eve in Times Square.
