Frontier Airlines is landing at Newark Airport with $15 one-way fares from EWR to 15 cities.
The super low fares celebrate the expansion of the low-cost carrier to EWR starting in November, with daily non-stop service that includes Las Vegas, Orlando, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Miami, Phoenix and Raleigh, and also to San Juan, Cancun and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Some routes will begin immediately, others in December, and more in the spring, including Ontario, Calif.
Frontier’s touchdown in Newark essentially replaces low-cost competitor Southwest Airlines, which is consolidating its flights to LaGuardia, beginning Nov. 3.
With a deal this good, there are restrictions, of course.
Here’s the catch:
The $15 fares are on sale today only, Wednesday, Aug. 28, and only for flights from EWR.
