The French Institute Alliance Francais on the UES is presenting a series of films celebrating the importance of food and wine in French culture and history.
The films are Tuesdays in October, at FIAF on the Upper East Side. John Mariani, the renowned food and travel columnist for Esquire Magazine, is series co-curator, and introduces the films.
There also are discussions with special guests, including legendary pastry chef Francois Payard. The FIAF Frances Gould Hall is at 22 East 60th.
