Last Chance for this Holiday Show
Every holiday season, the New York Transit Museum’s Grand Central Gallery plays host to a city within a city with the display of a miniature electric railroad running over, through, and beneath some of New York’s most magnificent landmarks.
This beloved FREE annual holiday exhibit features model trains traveling along a 34’ long, two-level, “O” gauge model train layout.
The model trains depart from a miniature replica of Grand Central Terminal, and feature the Transit Museum’s collection of Lionel trains including Metro-North, Polar Express and vintage subway train sets.
The model trains make their way past multiple New York landmarks and on to the North Pole.
Who doesn’t love trains?
- FREE, through Feb. 23, 2020

At the Brooklyn Wine Festival, you’ll enjoy three-and-a-half hours of tastings that take you across the Atlantic to Spain and Austria, down through the Mediterranean, stopping by Italy and Greece, then plunging south of the equator to South Africa, before jetting over to the Land Down Under and boomeranging around to South America and back up through the good ol’ USA.
Food, should you choose to purchase it, is equally representative of the tastiest corners of the world.
There’s also live music and wine-focused activities.
All attendees get a 5-oz. souvenir tasting glass included in the price of admission.
We have discount tickets – $20-$39 instead of the walk-up price of $60.
Get more discount tickets year-round to NYC museums, theater, walking tours and more, from NYC on the Cheap ticket partner Goldstar.
