There’s more than one FREE Shakespeare in the park in NYC this spring and summer. Free Shakespeare in Bryant Park returns this week with performances of Loves Labour Lost. There are performances Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings through August 30th, at 7 PM.
Unlike that “other” Shakespeare in the Park summer event, no tickets are needed for Shakespeare in Bryant Park. Just show up in time to get a space to sit on the Upper Terrace Steps. And enjoy.
But if you do want to go to that “other” Shakespeare in the Park, in Central Park, here are some NYC on the Cheap insider secrets on how to snag a ticket. This is the final week for King Lear, starring John Lithgow and Annette Benning.
