The memorial concert for Pete and Toshi Seeger at Lincoln Center this weekend is FREE and features an all-star line-up of folk singers including Judy Collins, Peter Yarrow and Paul Winter Consort. Both Seeger and his longtime wife died earlier this year, leaving behind a legacy of music, the musicians they influenced, and their advocacy and activism for grassroots environmental change.
The free memorial concert for Pete and Toshi Seeger was organized by grandson Kitama Cahill-Jackson, who will also host the event. It’s Sunday, July 20 at 4 PM at the Lincoln Center Damrosh Park Bandshell, and the recommendation is to get there at least an hour ahead to get in.. If you can’t, the concert will be streamed live at Watch.LincolnCenter.org, which means cameras will be present.
