Vodka, rum, gin and other spirits have had more of an impact on world history than most of us realize, which is exactly the subject of this FREE lecture at The New School on Wednesday, June 26th. The authors of books on the global history of vodka, rum and gin are the speakers. The lecture is at 6 p.m., and there are no tickets or reservations. Just show up at Wollman Hall, 66 West 12th Street, by 5:45, to get a seat. Pardon the pun, but it’s sure to be a spirited evening.
