For Holocaust survivors, every day is Holocaust Remembrance Day. Meet some of the survivors who were Hidden Children, and hear their stories, at a special FREE program at Temple Emanu-El, on Wednesday morning.
For the past year, the Hidden Children’s Book Club at Temple Emanu-El has offered a safe and supportive place exclusively for hidden children of the Holocaust to talk about their personal journeys of discovery and self-exploration. These Hidden Children are from various countries and backgrounds. Their riveting and sometimes harrowing experiences have been gathered into a new book.
To celebrate the book’s release, several of the book’s authors will read passages from the book.
The Hidden Children book event is 10:30AM Wednestay in the Stettenheim Library at Temple Emanu-El Skirball Center, Fifth Avenue at 65th St., and includes breakfast refreshments.
It’s FREE, but registration is required to ensure space.
