Looking for a job? Get tips from people who actually do the hiring at this NYPL program  for LGBT and other job seekers over 40.  You’ll gain insight on a range of job-hunting skills, from what to put in your resume to what to wear to the job interview. And not.

This is a panel discussion with four hiring managers and HR staff in non-profit and corporate sectors as to what they are looking for in the ideal candidate:

In case you have forgotten – or never knew – in its previous life, the SIBL branch of the NY Public Library was the home of the upscale NYC department store B. Altman, one of many NYC department stores and large retailer which have disappeared over the years.
