Free job fair in NYC Midtown on 10/18

POSTED BY
Evelyn Kanter

nyc on the cheapIf you are looking for a job, you should attend the FREE job fair in Midtown on Tuesday, Oct. 18 to meet with top hiring decision makers from the Tri-State area’s best employers. Hundreds of jobs are available.

Update your resume today to get ready,  and bring lots of copies and even business cards,

Show up dressed for success – that means no ripped jeans, snarky t-shirts, hoodies or work-out clothes.

NYCOTC also recommends you bring an old-fashioned notepad and pen to make notes, since if you are poking around on your mobile device, it could appear to a potential employer that you are snap chatting or face booking with friends instead of paying attention to what the recruiter has to say.  Writing it down presents you as interested, not distracted, with the attention span of a tweet.

Career opportunities include jobs with:

  • Base salary plus commission
  • Flexible schedule
  • Opportunity for advancement
  • Car/Gas allowance
  • Healthcare
  • Stock Options
  • Retirement Plans
  • Sales Awards/Bonuses/Trips

The job fair, sponsored by CareerIntro, is Tuesday, Oct. 18th at the Holiday Inn, 440 West 57th St. at Tenth Ave, starting at 11AM.

Its FREE, but an RSVP is required to ensure space.  And good luck!
