Take a walk on the wild side. Learn about the natural side of the Hudson River and Hudson River Park from trained naturalists in a FREE one-hour walk Sunday morning. You’ll be introduced to the park’s plants and flowers and some of the 85 species of birds identified within park boundaries. While dogs are permitted in Hudson River Park, they are not welcome on the Hudson River Wild Nature Walk. Wear comfortable shoes, and meet at the Christopher Street Fountain, north of Pier 40. Cross at Christopher St., at 9 a.m.
The walks are every Sunday through September 29th, weather permitting. Check the NYCOTC Summer Calendar for more free events, to help you enjoy NYC on the cheap.
