FREE Citi Bike passes through Oct. 31

POSTED BY
Evelyn Kanter

Citi Bike free ridesCiti Bike is celebrating Women’s Bike Month in October by giving away FREE passes, to encourage more women to try bike sharing, especially now that Citi Bike has expanded to Brooklyn, Upper Manhattan, Queens and even Jersey City.

Sign up for free Day Passes by entering  you need to do is enter you name and email, and you will receive an email with a gift code, redeemable for a free Day Pass.

If you do not opt in to receive Citi Bike news and updates, you will receive a maximum of two free passes for this promotion, so the NYCOTC advise is to opt in to get more passes, and you can always opt out after the free pass offer expires on Oct. 31.

Although the Women’s Bike Month free pass promotion is aimed at women – including the hashtag #WomenWhoBike – there’s nothing in the fine print to say you can’t take advantage of the free pass offer to get a free ride.

Here’s an idea – get a free pass twofer by riding your free bike to a top NYC museum offering free admission on certain days and certain times of the day.

  • NYCOTC list of FREE museum admission at top NYC museums.

With Citi Bike you get access to more than 8,000 bikes across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens or Jersey City. Pick up a bike at one of 500 stations whenever you need one, and drop it off at any other station when you’re done with your ride.

Who says there’s no free ride?  Thanks Citi Bike for these free Day Passes to ride.
