Many of us are not able to join family far from home for a Passover Seder.
But all is not lost. If you are looking to attend a Seder, the UJA Federation of New York has a list of seders open to the public in New York City, Long Island and Westchester.
The list includes synagogues, community centers, churches and other locations, including vegan options, for the first night or the second night.
The First Seder is next week, Friday, April 19th, and the Second Seder is the following evening.
Prices — like locations — are all over the place, from free for children under age 6 to $125 for their parents and grandparents.
Click here for the UJA list of Seders in the NYC five boroughs and nearby, and make your reservation soonest, before spaces are gone.
If you are an interfaith family, the website Interfaith Family is an excellent resource for advice on how to handle interfaith holidays.
The 92nd St. Y also has a special intergenerational family seder on Saturday, April 20th, at 4:30pm, with singing, dancing, interactive storytelling, Dayeinu conga lines, and more, ed by Rebecca Schoffer, Director of Jewish Family Engagement and Shababa.

That was the night when the enslaved Jews of Egypt, including Jesus, marked their front doors with lambs blood so the Angel of Death would pass over them.
