Today is election day in New York City, the day we get to vote for the next mayor, arguably the most important elected official in the world after the President. Plus, there are other important city-wide offices up for a vote, including Manhattan borough president, and statewide proposals including whether or not to allow casinos upstate Here’s how to find your polling place by your NYC zipcode. Polls are open in NYC until 9 p.m.
Remember that alternate side of the street parking is cancelled today because of Election Day, but you still have to feed the meters.
NYCOTC is not telling you who you should vote for, just that you should vote. IMHO, if you do not vote, you do not have the right to complain about who wins the election.
