On Sunday, Chinatown becomes celebration central with 16th Annual Lunar New Year Parade through the Lower East Side. Watch dragon and lion dancers and other cultural performers celebrate the new year.The parade begins at 1pm at Canal Street & Mott Street, marching to Chatham Square at East Broadway, down East Broadway under the Manhattan Bridge, then down Eldridge Street to Grand Street at Forsyth Street, ending at (B) Sara D Roosevelt Park.More information on the Better Chinatown website.
