The 5th annual Upper West Side Celebrates Israel Festival feature more than 30 events in multiple locations, including musical performances, a Kosher food festival, discussions about Mideaeast politics, films about life in Israel, and more.
The Celebrate Israel Festival is Sunday, April 30th and Tuesday, May 2nd. Most events are FREE, and ticketed events are all priced at $5.
Sunday
Attend a FREE activity-filled family day, or a lecture on the future of the two-state solution, at JCC, 76th St. and Amsterdam Avenue.
Get a FREE Hebrew lesson or an Israeli dance lesson, at B’nai Jeshrun, 257 West 88th St.

The Kosher Street Food Festival adjoins JCC, oon 76th St.
Tuesday
Party by the Shore is a ticketed event, 5pm-8pm, when the Hudson River Promenade around the 79th St. Boat Basin is turned into the Tel Aviv Tayelet (promenade). Come early for kids’ activities, or at at 6:30 pm for an after-work celebration.
