The new Carnival Vista doesn’t set sail until next spring, but you can sample the fun and food aboard today in Columbus Circle, for FREE. Carnival has taken over the Jazz at Lincoln Center space to create a virtual ship, with a virtual skyride and real games for the kids, tastings from some of the on-board restaurants, plus music and giveaways.
The Vista will be the largest ship in the Carnival fleet, with some first-ever additions, including a kaleidoscope-tunnel waterslide, and there’s a virtual one at this virtual fun ship on land. Get a virtual online preview here.
Of course, Fun Ship representatives will be on hand to help you plan a Caribbean or European getaway, on the Vista or another Carnival cruise ship. Carnival has partnered with Dr. Seuss, so there are Seuss-themed games and characters at this virtual ship, along with a children’s reading area.
The Carnival Vista event is at Jazz at Lincoln Center, 60th St. and Broadway, in Columbus Circle, 10am to 5pm today, Sat., Jan. 24th.
