Help feed the hungry by dining out in Brooklyn on Tues., March 7, when some two dozen restaurants, bars and cafes are donating a portion of their proceeds to feed the homeless.
It’s the first Brooklyn Feeds, to support CHiPS, a soup kitchen and homeless shelter for young women and their babies in Gowanus, and Neighbors Together, an organization in Bedford-Stuyvesant that provides food to over 10,000 New Yorkers a year.
Neighborhood staples like Three’s Brewing, Therapy Wine Bar and Franny’s are all taking part, and Applebee’s has agreed to donate 10% of revenues from all seven of its Brooklyn locations.
Help close the meal gap and pave the way for future editions of Brooklyn Feeds by eating or drinking here on March 7:
Applebee’s, seven Brooklyn locations;
A&E Supply Company, South Slope;
Brooklyn Colony, Gowanus;
Della, Prospect Heights;
Franny’s, Prospect Heights;
House of Juice; Hugo and Sons, Park Slope;
Krupa Grocery, Windsor Terrace;
Maman, Greenpoint;
Olivier Bistro, South Slope;
Rustik Tavern, Clinton Hill;
Taco Dumbo, Dumbo;
Therapy Wine Bar, Bedford-Stuyvesant;
Threes Brewing, Gowanus;
Untamed Sandwiches, Dumbo.
