Get tickets now for the Bronx International Film Festival, showcasing around 100 short films and documentaries. Tickets are $7 a day to see up to a dozen shorts, or get a nine-day pass to see everything for $30.
The Bronx International Film Festival is Friday, Jan. 22 through Sunday, Jan. 31, at The Studio Theatre.
Each day’s screenings are a combination of drama and comedy, and even the titles sound interesting. Titles include Cold Nights Hot Salsa and Everybody’s Different.
Screenings are 6pm to 9:45pm weeknights, and noon to 7pm on weekends.
Again, you can see all four hours or all seven hours of films a day for a single ticket price of $7, or a pass for all nine days and 100+ films for $30, so this definitely classifies as enjoying NYC on the cheap.
See the Bronx International Film Festival website for the minute-to-minute schedule, film descriptions, and to purchase tickets.
The Studio Theatre is at 250 Bedford Park Blvd., near Lehman College. The nearest subway stop is the #4 IRT to Bedford Park Blvd./Lehman College.
