Join the crowd in Times Square next Sunday, Sept. 27th for the 29th Annual Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction, for showbiz treasures from rare costume sketches to the actual costumes. Meet Broadway stars, shop for signed show posters and Playbills, cast recordings and more.
The FREE outdoor market will stretch from the pedestrian plaza along Broadway between 43rd and 44th Streets, and down West 44th Street to Eighth Avenue, while filling the Flea Market’s first home in Shubert Alley.
The always popular Autograph Table and Photo Booth takes over the deck of Junior’s Restaurant in Shubert Alley at West 45th Street.
There are treasures to be found in every price range, and most Broadway shows have tables with memorabilia. Last year, that included Aladdin, Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, The Book of Mormon, Cabaret, Cinderella, If/Then, The Lion King, Kinky Boots, Les Misérables, Mamma Mia!, Matilda The Musical, Motown: The Musical, Newsies, Once, Pageant: The Musical, The Phantom of the Opera, Pippin, Rock of Ages and Wicked.
The annual event is 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Schubert Alley and along West 44th Street. It’s free, except for the chance to have your photo taken with Broadway stars in return for a donation to Broadway Cares.
