Celebrate the history of NYC’s largest borough at the Breukelen Country Fair, at the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum, one of the oldest homes in NYC.
This old-fashioned, family-friendly fair is 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 22nd, with face painting and other activities for kids, composting workshops for adults by experts from the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, cider pressing, quilting workshops, entertainment, and more.
That includes a puppet show by Super Sprowtz with puppets shaped like vegetables, and the PuppetMobile production of “Bessie’s Big Shot” about a talented cow.
