Save the date for the 35th annual Bloomsday on Broadway event, celebrating the timeless poetry and prose of James Joyce, next Tuesday, June 16th on the UWS.
Bloomsday on Broadway celebrates the language, life, and love in James Joyce’s work at Symphony Space on the Upper West Side, with readings of Joyce’s works by Broadway and Off-Broadway stars, interspersed with Irish music performances.
This year also features a celebration of the centennial of James’ iconic A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man.
Also this year, a tour of James’ Ulysses, curated by Neil Hickey, a reading from the Molly Bloom soliloquy, and a special tribute to the writers and rebels behind the 1916 Easter Rising against British occupation of Ireland.
Bloomsday on Broadway is Tuesday, June 16th at 7 PM. Tickets are $26, and $15 for young adults 30 and under with a valid ID. Purchase tickets directly from Symphony Space.

Symphony Space is one block from the busy 96th St. subway stop of the 1, 2 and 3 express and local trains, and Broadway is a busy commercial and residential street for the neighnorhood.
