Attend a FREE celebration of Black History Month in NYC, with Africa-themed live music and film screenings, authentic African food from local Harlem restaurants, and more, on Friday, February 6th.
It’s the February edition of the popular First Friday series at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, a branch of the NY Public Library. The event is 6-9pm and includes extended viewing hours in the library’s extensive exhibit galleries.
Although First Friday is free, registration is required to ensure space.
February’s First Friday: Black History Month/African Edition is hosted by Africa’s Sahara FM Radio, and emceed by the station’s own ‘Olu,’ the Humble Prince.
