Here’s our New York insider’s secret spot for viewing the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade: inside the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle. The mall called The Shops at Columbus Circle open at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, just as the parade starts marching down Central Park West from 77th Street. From the second and third floor balconies overlooking CPW, you should be able to be belly-button level of the big balloons floating by. And toasty warm, too. And you can go shopping after the parade passes by.
