Loreley Restaurant and Beirgarten is just that — a German restaurant and a traditional German beer garden, serving lots of German beer. But on SuperBowl Sunday, both locations — on the Lower East Side and in Williamsburg, Brooklyn — turn into sports bars. Watch the game on big screen TVs and drink beer. Loreley will take $1 off each one-liter stein for each touchdown scored by the New York Giants (Go Big Blue!). There also are special SuperBowl Sunday discounts on things that go with beer, like brats and wings, including a $30 beer and wings combo deal. There’s more than a dozen German beers on tap, including my own personal favorite weizen, or wheat beers. Loreley is at 7 Rivington St. in Manhattan, and at 64 Frost St. in Williamsburg.
