Sinatra: An American Icon – This wonderful exhibit at the Library of the Performing Arts in Lincoln Center commemorates the 100th birthday of the multi-talented singer, dancer and dramatic actor. This exhibit closes on Friday, so there’s not much time left to hang out with Ol’ Blue Eyes to watch videos of his concerts and clips of his movies, see his famous fedora along, home movies of him with Nancy and Frank Sinatra Jr., his Grammy awards and a lot more. Lake Street Dive / Kitty, Daisy & Lewis – Two popular bands rock the stage at SummerStage, on Wednesday. SummerStage is at Rumsey Field in Central Park. Doors open at 6pm, performance is 7pm-10pm. Event website.
Heart of the Park – Tour the center of Central Park with docents from the Central Park Conservatory. Visit and learn about Bethesda Fountain, Bow Bridge, Strawberry Fields and more. Meet at 11am at the statue of Samuel F. B. Morse at Fifth Avenue and 72nd St.
Movies Under the Stars: An American Tail – There are two outdoor screenings of this popular family film this week.
