NYC free Halloween events on Saturday, Oct. 24th
Haunted High Line Halloween — Trick-or-treat your way through the elevated park’s creepy past, with an old-time photo booth, face painting, a spooky scavenger hunt and more. See this recent NYCOTC posting for full details.
Meatpacking Disctrict Harvest Fest – A Halloween block party with kid-friendly activities, food tastings from local restaurants, live music and more. 10am to 4pm at Gansevoort Plaza Ninth Ave. Event website
6th Annual Coney Island Children’s Halloween Parade – Join the party, in costume, starting at 10am at MCU Park, 1904 Surf Ave. Home-made costumes and Coney Island costumes are encouraged. Event website.
6th Annual Autumn Festival at Brooklyn Bridge Park – Celebrate both Halloween and the opening of the new Pier 6 facilities, with live music and theater performances and more, 10:30am to 1pm. Here’s the performance schedule:
