Sushi Para 88

This small neighborhood favorite in Chelsea offers all-you-can-eat specials Monday to Saturday, both at lunch, for $21, and at dinner, for $28.

Diners are limited to two hours, which is enough time to stuff yourself with more than a dozen varieties of six-piece rolls along with sushi and sashimi including shrimp, salmon, yellowtail and eel.

Sauces, including wasabi mayo and ponzu, are each 50 cents extra.

There’s a more extensive menu at dinner, including mocha and green tea ice cream desserts, also extra, and you can BYOB or order their beer or wine.

  • Sushi Para 88,
  • 212 West 14th St., Chelsea
  • Open until 11:30pm.

The all-you-can-eat sushi option is $29 at lunch or dinner, and  includes a variety of appetizers and specialty rolls, including sushi salad and Yummy Yummy roll, shrimp tempura topped with grilled blue crab and spicy eel sauce.

Add an all-you-can-drink sake or beer option for another $7. These sushi and drink deals are not listed on the restaurant website, but those in the know, know.

  • Kiku Sushi
  • 235 Ninth Ave. at 24th St., Hell’s Kitchen

This unpretentious spot offers a reasonable all-you-can-eat option for just $25 per person, that includes  classic favorite rolls and fresh sushi.

Plus, they offer a $3.50 saki all-you-can-drink sake option. Neither the sushi deal nor the saki deal is on the website.  Ask for it when you arrive.

  • Aki Sushi
  • 720 Second Ave., Kips Bay

best all-you-can-eat sushi deals in NYCIchi Umi

All the Japanese and Korean fare you can eat in one sitting, in a massive, two-floor sushi and seafood cafeteria-style buffet in Midtown’s so-called Little Korea.

There are dozens of sushi and roll options, including bacon avocado, spicy tuna and Tokyo crunch rolls, bite-sized soft shell crab in season, hot dishes and meaty crab legs, plus dozens more ramen and noodle options, a raw bar with oysters and clams, and a dizzying array of desserts and fresh fruit.

Prices vary by time of day and day of week as follows:

Lunch: Monday through Friday is $ 18.95 and $$24.95 weekends and holidays.

Dinner: Monday through Thursday is $31.95; Friday, Saturday, Sundays and holidays is $34.95.

NOTE: We cannot verify that Ichi Umi is still open. The website now opens to an online gambling site, not to the restaurant.

  • 6 East 32nd St., Midtown

Two locations, one in the Village, one on the Upper West Side, offer all-you-can-eat deals for $27.95, and an add-on $10 all-you-can-drink beer and sake deal.

You are encouraged to order as you go, to avoid a surplus of rolls and nigiri on the table.  There’s a two-hour time limit for the unlimited sushi and drink deals.

  • Kumo Sushi
  • 165 West 72nd St., on the UWS, and at 282 Bleeker in the West Village.

If we’ve missed one of your favorite all-you-can-eat sushi deals, email us at info@nyconthecheap.com and we’ll check it out to include in an update.

This was first posted in 2018 and updated in 2019, 2020 and January 2021.  We do our best to keep current, but do not control changes restaurants make without notifying us, or in between our regular price checks for updates.
