Central Astoria LDC is happy to announce the 7th Annual Holiday Festival & Tree Lighting Celebration on the Great Lawn in Astoria Park. Enjoy free hot chocolate, pretzels, kids activities, and being part of this wonderful Astoria holiday tradition

Parade on Rockaway
Join the crowd in Rockaway for a holiday parade, with floats and marching bands, followed by a tree lighting. And Santa is attending, too.

Celebrate the holiday season at the 28th Annual Tompkins Square Park Tree Lighting. Enjoy caroling, refreshments, and more!

The tradition of lighting trees on Park Avenue began in 1945 when several Park Avenue families wanted a special way to honor those men and women who had died in World War II.

Join the Friends of Morningside for the tradition of celebrating the holidays in the park! On the winter solstice, we will light a tree, tell the stories of the holidays, and have a sing-along

The Festival of Lights begins Sunday, Dec. 22, for eight nights.
The World’s Largest Menorah is lit each evening in Manhattan, at Grand Army Plaza, Central Park, Fifth Ave at 59th St
The Largest Menorah in Brooklyn is lit each evening at Grand Army Plaza, Prospect Park. Every night is celebrated with live music, latkes, and gifts for children, and there’s a live kickoff concert on the first night (Sunday, December 22).
Lighting ceremonies are FREE.
Hours vary depending on day, including the Sabbath.
