The 30th annual NYC Fleet Week, which celebrates all the Sea Services, is May 23-29, with Navy Band concerts and drill performances, demonstrations of the latest battle and rescue technology, and the chance to tour ships on active duty.
All NYC Fleet Week 2018 events are FREE and open to the public. Here is the full daily event schedule:
Tuesday, May 22
Navy Band Concert

Wednesday, May 23
Parade of Ships

Location: NY Harbor
- The Parade of Ships officially kicks off 2018 Fleet Week New York. The ships will be able to be seen along the Hudson River from Battery Park to just south of the George Washington Bridge.
Navy Divers at NY Aquarium
10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
NY Aquarium, 602 Surf. Ave, Brooklyn
- U.S. Navy divers will be diving in the tank at the NY Aquarium for guests to view. Come out and take photos and interact with them throughout the day.
Navy Band Concert
12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
South Street Seaport, 12 Fulton St., Manhattan
- Navy Band Northeast’s “Brass Band” will perform a concert at the South Street Seaport.
Thursday, May 24
General Public Ship Tours
8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Pier 90 in Manhattan; Brooklyn Cruise Terminal (in the Red Hook Community) in Brooklyn; and Homeport Pier in Staten Island.

Screening of Top Gun at the Intrepid
It’s a Fleet Week tradition to show the classic film about the need for speed on the top deck of the Intrepid. FREE screening starts at 7pm, bring your own seating.
For those who don’t know the plot: Lt. Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, a young naval aviator, played by Tom Cruise, is sent to train at the elite Fighter Weapons School, but his reckless attitude and cocky demeanor put him at odds with the other pilots.
NYPD/U.S. Navy Association Remembrance Ceremony and Celebration
