Take budget-healthy bites out of the Big Apple, which turns into the Green Apple this weekend. And everything is family-friendly.
Okay, we cheated just a bit with the 100 number. But if you add up all the FREE exhibits, films, fitness classes, dance performances and art workshops, it’s more than 100.
Car Free Day today, Saturday, April 21 turns 30 blocks of Broadway, between Union Square and Times Square, into a thoroughfare only for pedestrians, bicyclists and roller bladers. There are FREE exhibits, games, art projects, fitness classes and more on every block, including FREE bike rentals from Citi Bike.
