Kris Kringle The Musical This captivating tale is the untold story of a young Kris Kringle. Discover what happens when an evil toy company CEO crosses paths with a starry-eyed, jobless toymaker whose family name carries a curse with the power to destroy Christmas. From the North Pole, Kris Kringle teams up with Santa and Mrs. Claus, the beautiful Evelyn Noel, a band of hilarious Apprentices and Elves, and magical Toys to remind the world what Christmas is really all about. This delightful musical stars Tony nominees Cathy Rigby (Peter Pan) and Pamela Myers (Company) with Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies) and Kim Crosby (Into the Woods). The show is appropriate for children ages 7 and up.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Three Bears Holiday Bash: The popular annual puppet show is back for the season at the Swedish Marionette Theatre in Central Park, celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa traditions wrapped up into one happy, musical performance. Suitable for kids as young as three.
Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker. One of the world’s most magical adaptations of Tchaikovsky’s holiday classic, by one of the world’s most famous ballet troupes. Nearly 40 renowned dancers bring to life the timeless story of young Masha (Clara), who receives the gift of a nutcracker one Christmas Eve and dreams that night of a grand adventure with her Nutcracker Prince. Filled with larger-than-life puppets and nesting dolls, handmade Victorian-style costumes, gasp-inducing special effects and sets created by La La Land designer Carl Sprague.
Hip Hop Nutcracker with Kurtis Blow. This re-imagines Tchaikovsky’s classic score, swapping out pas de duex and relevé for head-spins and windmills. Instead of pointe shoes, Sugarplums lace up their high-top sneakers to be poppin’ and lockin’ their way into New York. A dozen all-star dancers, an on-stage DJ and an electric violinist bring the traditional Nutcracker story to life in a modern-day setting. In addition to some explosive hip hop choreography, this merry mash-up also features an appearance by Kurtis Blow, one of hip hop’s pioneers.
A Christmas Carol. Players Theatre presents a lively musical stage adaptation of Charles Dickens’ beloved Christmas story. Grumpy old miser Ebenezer Scrooge finds a second chance to become a loving, generous, kind human being through the aid of four ghosts who visit him in turn one Christmas Eve, each teaching him valuable lessons. Will Scrooge catch the holiday spirit and save himself in the process? This tale of redemption and forgiveness captures the true spirit and magic of the holiday season for the whole family.
Breakfast with Santa: Give your kids a chance to get up close and personal with ol’ Saint Nick himself at Breakfast with Santa. This is a morning meet-and-greet that includes a continental breakfast and the opportunity to pose for photos and present a holiday wish list to the big guy in red. In addition, Elfprov (from the silly minds behind Improv 4 Kids) perform an interactive musical comedy starring Santa’s favorite helpers. For an extra-special holiday treat, go VIP for reserved stage-side seats, priority access to Santa and tasty treats at your table.
