Global Citizen Festival 2017 is Saturday, September 23, on the Great Lawn in Central Park. The annual event blends great music with positive social activism.

The focus of the 2017 concert is to call on leaders in the USA and around the world to uphold their responsibility to end poverty, tackle climate change, support education for girls worldwide, by 2030.
There is no admission without a ticket, so start earning yours now. Or, you could pay $1,00 (more or less) for a VIP ticket, which helps support Global Citizen programs. Either way, you will be supporting Global Citizen’s efforts to end global poverty and reduce climate change.
The mission of Global Citizen 2016 was to end global poverty and human trafficking. Performers included Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar.

August 1st marks the launch of “Action Journey 1: For Freedom,” in which Global Citizens will complete actions in support of maternal health, polio eradication, girls’ education, increased foreign aid, and more.
