Get BOGO poke bowls and burritos to celebrate the grand opening of Pokéworks’ new Union Square location, at 21 East 15th Street, from from 11 AM – 8 PM. Plus, while you wait, enjoy raffle giveaways including Pokéworks gear and gift cards. As part of its Sustainability Series, Hawaii-based chef Sheldon Simeon and Pokéworks are using underutilized sustainable fish varieties such as Bora, a light and mild white fish.
Sustainability and Social Good Pop-Up features organizations and companies who offer programs, products, and services that contribute to a more sustainable and socially responsible planet. In addition to exhibitors, there are FREE workshops, discussions, and interactive activities, all aimed at connecting us to the wide range of opportunities around sustainability and social responsibility in NYC. Buffalo Exchange, one of NYC’s best consignment and secondhand resale shops, is selling tons of men’s and women’s clothing and accessories stuff for just $1. Better yet, the proceeds go to support environmental charities. Over 20 years, this annual good deed has raised more than $600,000 for good causes like the Humane Society.

DRØME describes itself as “a radical, NYC-based publication that showcases the voices of queer and feminist artists on the rise”. On Earth Day, it’s rising a one-day pop-up shop selling second-hand and vintage pieces by top designers including Prade and Valentino, along with brand new curated items by new artists and designers. Everything is under $100, and a portion of the proceeds from sales will be donated to support the work of Greenpeace.
The pop-up shop is at 167 Canal Street in Soho, and there will be a DJ on hand to spin sounds, plus a juice bar and a lounge to relax. Noon to 6pm only.
