Brooklyn Americana Music Festival – More than 60 FREE concerts in Brooklyn Bridge Park and other venues, indoors and out.
San Gennaro Festival – The annual ten-day street fair that takes over much of Little Italy and parts of Chinatown ends this weekend.

Saturday in NYC
Global Citizen Festival – The largest FREE outdoor concert of the year rocks Central Park with headliners including Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Selena Gomes and Metallica
Little Red Lighthouse Festival – Celebrate the last remaining lighthouse in Manhattan, under the George Washington Bridge, with FREE tours, family-friendly events, and readings of the the ever-popular children’s book that made the lighthouse famous, The Little Red Lighthouse and the Great Grey Bridge
13th Annual NYC Dumpling Festival – Dumpling making classes, dumpling eating contest, entertainment, kid-friendly activities, and lots of food, including dumplings. This annual food festival supports the NYC Food Bank, so you are eating for a good cause. At Sara D. Roosevelt Park, East Houston St. between Christie and Forsyth Streets, noon to 5pm.
Saturday and Sunday in NYC
The Great Bacon Picnic – Unlimited tastes of bacon and bacon dishes from top NYC area chefs, plus wine and beer to wash it down.
LIC Flea & Food – The popular outdoor weekend market is open for the season, open 11AM-6PM both days with favorite vendors returning and new vendors added. Grab a beer from the only All Queens Beer Garden and enjoy the Manhattan skyline. Located at 5-25 46th Avenue in Long Island City at the corner of 46th Avenue and 5th Street. Smorgasburg – The popular food and crafts market in Brooklyn is back for the season, open 11am to 6pm both days. Note that Smogasburg has two locations:
- Saturdays: Williamsburg, East River State Park, 90 Kent Ave. (at N. 7th)
- Sundays: Prospect Park, Breeze Hill (at Lincoln Rd.)
Sunday in NYC
42nd Atlantic Antic – Brooklyn’s oldest and largest street festival turns one-mile of Atlantic Avenue into a playground of local food and crafts vendors, entertainment and more, all with a distinctive Brooklyn vibe.
30th Annual Broadway Cares Flea Market and Grand Auction – Everything from show props to tickets to opening night performances, from autographed musical phrases to once-in-a-lifetime theatrical experiences, and all the proceeds support Broadway Cares/Equity programs to fight AIDS. The always popular Autograph Table and Photo Booth will once again be on the outdoor deck of Junior’s restaurant on West 45th Street at the entrance to Shubert Alley. 10am to 7pm in Schubert Alley and, for the first time, along West 45th Street as well as its long-standing home on West 44th Street, between Seventh and Eighth Avenues.
Times Square Fall Fair – On Broadway, from 47th to 57th Streets
Lower East Side Pickle Day – Pucker up, baby, and take a walk back in brine time for this popular annual event that transforms Orchard Street into a pickle paradise, with 20+ picklers, tasty pickled and non-pickled treats, tons of local boutiques and restaurants, live music, games, activities and the world’s first home pickling/dancing contest. Whatever that is. Make mine a full sour. Noon to 5PM on Orchard Street between Delancey and East Houston Streets
Hester Street Fair – Each weekend there’s a different theme. This weekend, it’s LES Talent Show. At the intersection of Hester Street and Essex Street
Grand Army Market – The team behind Brooklyn Flea and Smorgasburg is launching a new weekly market at Grand Army Plaza starting Sunday, May 1. Situated at the northern tip of Prospect Park (at the landmark arch/rotary), Grand Army Plaza has long been home to the weekly Saturday Greenmarket and is within walking distance to Prospect Heights, Crown Heights, Park Slope and Prospect Lefferts Gardens. Every Sunday, 10am to 5pm, though October, with some of the most popular maker vendors from Brooklyn Flea, plus many new additions, and prepared- and packaged-food vendors.
Fulton Stall Outdoor Market – This popular. family-friendly outdoor food market features live music and tastings of local craft food and drinks connecting New Yorkers with fresh and healthy produce from within a 250-mile radius of New York City. Experience the Seaport District’s art installation, featuring portraits of over 100 farmers and chefs living and working in the Hudson Valley. South Street Seaport district at the corner of Fulton and Water Streets and inside Fulton Stall Market at 207A Front St., 11 AM – 5 PM
