Shake Shack celebrates the opening of its 100th location by giving away FREE burgers at each location, including the first one in Madison Square Park and the newest one at the Boston Seaport, opening tomorrow, the day of the giveaway.
Each Shake Shack location is giving away 100 burgers, so you better be in line early to get yours.
Shake Shack locations will begin welcoming guests at 10:30AM on Tuesday, August 16th, to receive one free single ShackBurger, or a burger of equal or lesser value, until noon.
The freebie does not include Shake Shack outposts in stadiums or ballparks, but does include overseas in such locations as London, Tokyo, Moscow and Dubai.

The first Shake Shack opened in 2004 in NYC’s Madison Square Park. The 100th Shack opens at the Boston Seaport, located at 77 Seaport Boulevard, on Tuesday, August 16th. Maybe #101 will be at NYC’s South Street Seaport.
Shake Shack grew from a hot dog cart, created by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG) to support the Madison Square Park Conservancy’s first art installation “I ♥ Taxi.” The cart was quite the success, with Shack fans lined up daily for three summers.
Then, the company won the bid to open a permanent kiosk in the Park. Its green architecture was designed to blend in with the park and its surroundings. Like the hot dog cart, the kiosk was an instant neighborhood fixture, and started sprouting more locations.
Shake Shack is a modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers and flat-top Vienna beef dogs (no added hormones and no antibiotics ever), 100% all-natural cage-free chicken (no antibiotics ever), spun-fresh frozen custard, crinkle cut fries, craft beer and wine (available at select locations) and more. There are now Shake Shack locations in 15 states and the District of Columbia, as well as international locations in London, Tokyo, Istanbul, Dubai, Moscow, Seoul and more.
